Ideal Coffee Cups at Taste of Gibbston Valley
A Taste of Gibbston Valley is home to more than just 100% organic fair trade coffee and organic milk. They also offer takeaway coffee cups that are good for you and the environment. The shop features New Zealand's first designed and manufactured barista-grade reusable takeaway coffee cups made in Aotearoa by a company called Ideal Cup.
Offering both premium-quality coffee and reusable cups to drink them in are all part of the 'Good Living' concept that the artisan cafe, deli and tasting room aims to offer locals and visitors in Arrowtown. The cups can be purchased at A Taste of Gibbston Valley for $15 and include a free coffee.
The locally-made cups are 100% recyclable and BPA-free. They can be reused daily to help reduce the consumption of disposable takeaway cups. The cup consists of three separate parts including the cup, lid and rotating top insert. The cup portion is made from polypropylene and the lid and rotating top insert are manufactured from polyethylene. Both of these products are FDA approved, 100% BPA free and can be recycled.
