Gibbston Valley Wine and Jazz Weekend
Does the thought of grooving to the sultry rhythms of some sweet jazz tunes while sipping your favourite Gibbston Valley wine sound like the perfect way to spend an afternoon, or evening? Then keep reading. We're hosting a weekend of events celebrating wine, jazz and food on 24 - 26 October, and you're invited.
All events will feature live music provided by Queenstown JazzFest artists. Queenstown JazzFest is also taking place 24 - 26 October in Queenstown.
Not only is this weekend a unique opportunity to relish in your love for wine and jazz, but we're also hosting a Gala Dinner event on Saturday the 24th of October at Skyline Queenstown featuring celebrity chef extraordinaire Simon Gault. Simon along with our chief winemaker Christopher Keys will take guests through a gourmet wine and food tasting extravaganza set to the stylish tunes of the Geoff Culverwell Quartet.
Breathe-taking views from Skyline, food prepared by one of the top chefs in the industry and wine by Central Otago's founding winery, need we say more? OK fine, we'll keep going.
Along with the Gala Dinner the weekend will also feature a Wine and Jazz lunch at the winery, separate Pinot Noir and white wine degustation dinners at two of Queenstown's top restaurants and the 20th Anniversary Celebration of our wine cave.
The degustation dinners include Pinot Progression at VKnow, hosted by Chris, and Wild White, hosted by Gibbston Valley Winemaker Sascha Herbert, at Wild Ginger. Both dinners will take place on Sunday the 25th of October.
For the 20th Anniversary Celebration, we're offering guests something extra special, complimentary access to the wine cave. If you haven't visited yet, you won't want to miss this opportunity to taste wine amidst more than 300 barrels of ageing Pinot Noir in New Zealand's largest wine cave.
