2016 Summer Concert What You Need to Know
We hope you’re ready to rock! Here’s everything you need to know for the Greenstone Entertainment 2016 Gibbston Valley Winery Summer Concert on Saturday, 23 January featuring Melissa Etheridge, REO Speedwagon and Huey Lewis and the News.

A very limited number of locals tickets are still available at the winery and Taste by Gibbston Valley Cafe & Wine Bar in Arrowtown. General Admission tickets can still be purchased through TICKETEK. There will also be tickets available at the door while supplies last.
The grass concert site is located next to Gibbston Valley Winery less than half an hour drive from Queenstown. Nestled in the stunning Central Otago winemaking region, the site offers concert goers a unique opportunity to see classic rockers perform their greatest hits with awe-inspiring scenery as the backdrop.
To access the site, you’ll need to walk on gravel paths. The site is all grass. Wear comfortable footwear.
GIBBSTON VALLEY TASTING TENT
Are you in the mood for some incredible wines? Head to the Gibbston Valley Tasting Test where you’ll have access to the winery’s premium range of wines.
Tastings start at $10 and include a tasting of three wines and a souvenir glass. The tent will be open throughout the day. Wine can also be purchased in the tasting tent by the glass.
FOOD AND DRINKS
An assortment of food and drinks will be available at the concert including a range of Gibbston Valley Wines.
You can also bring your own picnic and non-alcoholic drinks to the concert.
Please be advised that management reserves the right to search bags and coolers on entry and prohibited items will be confiscated.

Bring cash as some of the vendors many not have card facilities within the venue. Cash out facilities will be available at the venue.
Parking is available next to the concert site. The parking fee is a gold coin donation to a local community group. Please look for signage and directions on where to go for parking when approaching the concert site.
Taxi drop-off and collection points will also be available.
BUS INFO FOR PRE-PURCHASED TICKETEK TICKET HOLDERS

Departures to the concert – The buss will depart every 10 minutes 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. from O’Connells Mall Camp St. Queenstown to GIbbston Valley Winery main entrance via pickups at Frankton Bus Shelter, Kawarau Rd and Arrowtown Bus Centre, Arrowtown.
Return from Gibbston 6:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. depart Gibbston Valley Winery main entrance for return journey to O’Connells Mall Camp St., Queenstown via drop-offs at Arrowtown Bus Centre, Arrowtown and Frankton Bus Shelter, Kawarau Rd, Frankton. Coaches will continue until every person has returned.
NOTE: Passengers have to pre-purchase their bus tickets through Ticketek and show their ticket to our drivers to gain entry on board buses for both journeys.
Unless you are a Wine Club member and purchased a VIP Package, all seating for the concert is general admission. We recommend getting their early to ensure you get a good spot and view of the stage.
Chairs are permitted at the concert, but please be consideration to the people around you.
Shades and umbrellas are permitted, but only in designated areas. Check the weather and dress accordingly. Hats and sunscreen is recommended.
WHAT NOT TO BRING
No professional video or audio recording equipment allowed in the venue. Any equipment discovered will be confiscated.
No animals except guide dogs are allowed.
No cookers or fires permitted.
This event is wheelchair accessible.
Parking and toilets will be available, but this is a grass venue. Please ensure mobility on this surface.

The concert will only be cancelled if the conditions are considered dangerous by the organisers.
Management reserves the right to remove or refuse entry to ticket holders considered dangerous of a nuisance or failing to comply with reasonable requests.
