Join us Saturday of Labour Day Weekend for an afternoon of Wine, Food and Jazz. We have two New Zealand jazz duos joining us to bring live music and ambience to your wining and dining experience.
It is now twenty years since Flor D’Luna, the local duo featuring Mark Wilson and Janelle Aston took off. They are a unique and sumptuous musical dish, their voices blend majestically and unmistakably, filling the air with the most captivating and riveting energy. Like a melting pot, it contains the spice of the Latin in its inescapable syncopation, the spring of swing, and the seasoning of scat singing with hypnotic harmonies. They will be accompanied by the effervescent Jeff Sinnott on drums.
Violin legend Richard Adams and guitar virtuoso Nigel Gavin are a special pairing, renowned nationally and internationally for their dynamic musicianship. Their original compositions take the listener on a musical and visual journey like no other. They will dazzle you with their expertise and joy of making melodies that can twist on a note and their interpretation so unique, you will not be disappointed!
If we are blessed with a nice day, the artists will play in the Winery Courtyard. In the case of rain, the artists will set up in the Restaurant area.
If you wish to have lunch, we would highly recommend booking a table in advance. You can do so here or you may call +64 3 442 6910.
